In an emergency situation, Universelle’s team distinguishes itself by its flexibility, quickness and expertise. Emergency teams are deployed on short notice when crisis situations occur, like the ice storm crisis of 1998. Construction of Temporary Supports

Our team has the means required to install temporary supports to make different structures sturdier.
 

Sample Projects:

• Highway 720 – Installation of 9,000 shoring frames to support the raised structure of Highway 720 in Quebec during its reconstruction. Loads supported were more than 320 KN/m, which was the entire weight of the structure itself, rush-hour traffic and vibrations from heavy vehicles.
• Paccar – Temporary support of the roof of the Sainte-Thérèse plant during the replacement of retaining metal columns.

Installation of Work Platforms

Our company carries out, among others, the construction of work platforms for internationally renowned film productions and for construction projects.
